WD DIGI / Practical guide

Choose between an observatory mystery and a typewriter puzzle

Both games reward looking closely, but their subjects and play loops differ. Compare the kind of puzzle you enjoy before choosing a download.

Before you begin

Use Windows x64 with a mouse and keyboard. Both games use English. Check the current Store requirements and any trial or Free-level offer in your region.

Match the product to the task

Work through the steps

  1. Choose GlassSky if you enjoy examining evidence across photographic star plates. Try the steady comparison on its website to understand how a moving point differs from the surrounding stars.
  2. In GlassSky, compare the plates, inspect the candidate and classify the evidence before recording a discovery. Check accessibility settings if you prefer side-by-side or reduced-flashing views.
  3. Choose The Restoration Atelier if you prefer mechanical clues and unfinished letters. Its first Free level includes a restoration and a letter so you can try that loop.
  4. Inspect, diagnose and repair the typewriter, then finish the letter. Compare the optional Pro offer only after checking whether the first restoration suits your taste.

Review the actual result

Review controls, reading comfort and the actual play loop. A calm presentation does not mean the games have identical puzzles or accessibility options.

Limits to know

Store prices, regional availability and GlassSky trial terms follow the current listing. The Restoration Atelier Pro adds levels 2 and 3. Neither game is a scientific or professional repair tool.

Check the product website or official Store for current pricing and purchase options.
