WD DIGI / Practical guide

Keep sources and prepare a clear work handoff

A useful handoff lets the next person retrace the evidence and understand the requested action. Keep collection, writing and sharing as separate steps.

Before you begin

Use sample information while learning a tool. Local browser storage is not a cloud backup. Export important notes and templates before changing a Chrome profile or uninstalling an extension.

Work through the steps

  1. Use ReadBoard when you want a saved text snapshot, highlights and notes for later reading. For a brief that needs traceable claims, use SourcePack to connect selected excerpts and their URLs to your outline.
  2. Keep repeatable explanations in TypeFlow. Turn the changing details into fields, fill them and inspect the full preview. Copy and paste manually in rich editors that do not support direct insertion.
  3. Before sharing text with an AI tool, review it in PasteGuard. Choose replacements and inspect the masked result yourself. Names and identifying context may require custom rules.
  4. Use ShareShot to capture the page, annotate the relevant area and manually cover private details. Review the final flattened export. If exported files accumulate, test a SortSentry rule in preview before organizing the chosen folder.

Review the actual result

Open the exported brief or screenshot as the recipient will see it. Check source links, field values and every area that should be masked. Keep your original materials separately.

Limits to know

PasteGuard does not guarantee anonymization. ShareShot masking is manual. ReadBoard does not bypass paywalls. SortSentry preview does not move files, and undo depends on the recorded action and current file state.
