Choose a Windows front desk for a gym or rental business

Membership access and equipment availability are different business rules. Choose Fitarix for a gym or RentRail for equipment rentals rather than adapting one register to both.

Before you begin

Use a Windows PC and keep backups on a second drive or a location you control. Test the workflow with clearly labelled sample records before entering customer information.

Match the product to the task

Work through the steps

  1. For a gym, install Fitarix and review the monthly Store subscription. Choose the permanent regional settings carefully when creating the workspace, then set up membership plans and authorized staff.
  2. Test one member payment record, QR check-in and check-out. Fitarix records manually verified payments; it does not automatically settle QRIS or bank transfers.
  3. For a rental business, start RentRail Free with your equipment types, customers and a sample booking. Check availability before promising an item and include preparation or maintenance time.
  4. Follow a sample rental through quote, deposit, checkout, return and invoice. Review the capacity limits before upgrading, and export a backup you can restore.

Review the actual result

Check a complete business cycle, not just the dashboard. Confirm that your staff understand access, payment recording, inventory availability and backup recovery.

Limits to know

Fitarix gym operations require a subscription. RentRail Free has capacity limits and optional Pro. Local storage is not automatic multi-branch synchronization; test your peripherals and backup process.

Check the product website or official Store for current pricing and purchase options.
